Sammy Strawberry's Early Days

Falling asleep after eating July 4 July 4 July 3 June 26 W feeding S June 13 Sammy started his culinary adventures just short of 6 months. He is quite a keen eater. He is now able to hold slices of strawberries, bread and pasta. He makes a real mess everywhere, but I have to accept that if I want him to help himself! Quite keen on pasta, but definitely his favourite is strawberries! Hence the blog Sammy Strawberry! (post rationalising)  

 

Yesterday was the definitive day that Sammy mastered the roll. He got onto his front a couple of times. Today he most definitely rolled off the bed...he was placed in the middle and managed to roll of the side! Things have changed. He is on the move!  

  At bring your baby catchup at work Sammy loves singing Sammy grasping a toy Sammy laughing Lots of laughing and chatting now that Sammy is 4+ months! I can get lost just staring into his eyes as we chat and laugh. He so so responsive. Lately he has had some cranky days where he did not want to be sat in the bouncer and did not want to feed. In the last two days he has also woken up at night, when previously he has slept till 5am. Growth spurt perhaps? He does seem suddenly gynormous.  So he can grasp a toy at 4+ months. Erin managed to grasp a toy at a little over 3 months. He also seemed to be able to turn sideways, but not flip over just yet.  Now that W is going to nursery full days 3 days a week, I do have more uninterrupted time to stare into S' face. Sweet angelic boy. 

 

  How time flies! Sam is almost 4 months now. He is now able to grasp. There were a few times where he grabbed my bowl at dinner time! He has also started sleeping through the night. He is not able to flip yet. He is very good natured throughout the day and only complains if he is tired. That happens usually in the evenings. Very sweet boy...
